The 80th anniversary of Professor Vladimir Tagirov was held
29/11/2012The 80th anniversary of Professor Vladimir Tagirov, a member of the National Academy of Sciences , Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, was held on 29November, in 2012.At the opening of ceremony rector, academician Abel Maharramov noted that in his speaking the Professor Vladimir Tagirov not also distinguished scientist,but also an excellent teacher. For many years he teaches for students, "Physics of Semiconductors" and "General Physics". He has 10 books, 6 monographs, and more than 35 patents . During these years he wrote more than 400 scientific papers which are published in international journals and he has reported on a number of international conferences, and has worked hard in the field of science popularization. He carried out research, teaching and social work was always the center of attention of the public and appreciated.Rector noted that V.I.Tahirov was elected a corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences for outstanding scientific achievements in 2001 and was awarded the gold medal of Europe Print and Broadcast media houses in 2012.Later, the dean of Department of Physics Professor Mohammadali Ramazanov reported about scientific, educational activities of V.I.Tahirov
Then, an active member of ANSA Maksud Aliyev,the rector of Sumgait State University Nadir Gahramanov, the National Assembly, The head of the legal department of the National Assembly of the Social Adila Abbasova, a member of the Union of Writers and Journalists Flora Halilzada, Professor Vagif Salmanov, PhD Zohrab Agamaliyev, and the dean of the Physics Faculty of Pedagogical State University, professor Mirzali Murquzov had congratulations for the jubileer.At the end of the event, jubileer thanked everyone.
