Brief Biography
Shamsaddin Allahverdi oghlu Allahverdiyev was born on November 18, 1954 in Guba, Azerbaijan.. He graduated from the faculty of Physics of Baku State University in 1981. He started his professional career as a laboratory assistant at Baku State University in February, 1977 and became a senior laboratory assistant in February 1982, Since December 1984 he has been laboratory chief of the department of “Physical Electronics”. He is married and has 3 children. He is Azerbaijani and lives in Baku.
Educational Qualifications
1981 Graduated from the faculty of Physics of Azerbaijan (present Baku) State University
2010 Defended his thesis “Electronic phenomena associated with the recharge of local levels in holmium doped crystals of gallium selenide”, received the academic degree of PhD of Physics.
Work experience:
1973 started professional career.
1977 – 1982 laboratory assistant at Baku State University
1982 – 1984 senior laboratory assistant at Baku State University
1984 – 2015 laboratory chief of the department of “Physical Electronics”
Since 2015 teacher of the department of “Physical Electronics”
